Competition Start Times:

Beginner and Novice will commence at 8:00am

Primary will commence no earlier than 10:00am*

Intermediate and Premier will commence in the PM following Opening Ceremonies

* Times may change depending on registration numbers.

There is to be no changing on the field. Change rooms will be available.

This is traditionally a very hot day; please bring water, lawn chairs and protection from the sun.

Penticton Scottish Festival Competition Disclaimer

Our goal is to provide a safe, calm, inclusive and positive environment for all participants. We appreciate unexpected situations could arise on the day that may require action that is meant to protect our dancers, judges, volunteers and other participants.


These events will be held in compliance with all current federal and provincial health and safety orders as well as facility requirements for COVID-19.

  1. Public Health requirements will be continuously evaluated, and participants will be informed of the Covid-19 protocols prior to the event through social media and email.
  2. In the absence of any Public Health Order mandates, the organizing committee for the Penticton Scottish Festival strongly encourage participants to:
  3. Wear a mask for your own protection and the protection of others (dancers continue to have a choice whether to wear a mask while competing)
  4. Maintain physical distancing wherever possible
  5. Frequent hand hygiene
  6. Stay home if you feel sick
  7. Upon registering for this event and immediately prior to the event, you agree to the requirements and recommendations of any National, Provincial and local Public health and other governmental authorities as well as any requirements from the City of Penticton which may be in effect at the time of the event, as it pertains to the Covid-19 Coronavirus and to adopt all necessary measures to those effects.
